Many possible: Some people with an overactive thyroid may have no symptoms at all. For those that do, hair thinning, trouble sleeping or concentrating, irritability, wt changes, heart pounding, shakiness, frequent bms, feeling hot when others don't, and inability to exercise may be present. Eye bulging or double vision may occur w/ graves' disease, and neck swelling and tenderness may occur w/ thyroiditis.
