Shoulder has been hurting for months when i throw a ball(of).mri recently done and shows nothing wrong. should i get a cortizone (hydrocortisone) shot? other ideas?

Why not?: I think a steroid shot and physical therapy would be a good option. Labral tears are sometimes subtle and difficult to see on mri. I think if the cortisone and pt do not resolve your symptoms, a shoulder scope would be a reasonable next option.
