Scientific Rx: All acne can be managed nowadays. If you're female, the oral contraceptive pill could clear you if you can use it. Benzoyl peroxide is a good start, if you are not good in two weeks your physician may add a retinoic acid derivative and/or topical Clindamycin or something similar. If on the face only, a systemic antibiotic will probably not be necessary but could be in reserve. Good luck.
