TMD?: Could it be that you have temporalmandibular joint dysfunction? Your lower jaw inserts into the base of the skull in close proximity to your ear drum. Therefore, pain from that sight is often mistaken for ear pain.

Probable TMJ: Your right TMJ (jaw joint near the ear) may be dislocating when you are chewing. A dentist that treats TMJ with functional orthopedic appliances generally can best determine the extent of the problem and work with corrective treatment.
