Dry mouth?: You may be a relatively low producer of saliva. If so, particles of dry food which come into contact with your lips can absorb moisture from the lips, which dries them out.

Processed food: Most dry foods are processed in some way. These processed foods have bisphenol a which blocks an important protein in liver involved in cadmium detoxification. Cadmium can lower 25-oh vit d3 which can cause dry skin on lips. Cadmium is a ubiquitous pollutant you can read about on my web page.
