Yes: Otc zyrtec/ Claritin (loratadine) should not generally make you racy. But they may not be that helpful for your asthma symptoms.

OTC ALLERGY MEDS: The only over the counter allergy meds which will not make you drowsy are Claritin (loratadine) and allegra, zyrtec can make you a little drowsy.But none of them have any direct affect on asthma and will not help making asthma better.The only drug which helps asthma and allergy is singular, but it is not available over the counter.
