Zero!: Do not take any nsaids during pregnancy including advil, motrin, aleve, ponstan/el. They are teratogenic in the first trimester and can injure the fetal kidneys or ductus arteriosus later in pregnancy. The only exception is Aspirin in low doses (80 mg) for preeclampsia prevention [should be started before 16 weeks]. You may take tylenol (acetaminophen) for aches during pregnancy.
