Won't worry much: Possibly you swallowed a big chunk of food causing irritation in your throat and esophagus causing your symptoms. If food goes into the wrong tube- trachea- you'll have persistent cough, shortness of breathing, perhaps pass out. Try taking peptobismol to relieve the irritation and drink lots of water. If you get worse, go see your dr.

See your doctor: Unclear what is going on. Best to have it checked. May need to see a gastroenterologist or get an x-ray of your chest.
