Low Potassium?: These are consistant with low potassium though it could be something else. If you take medication for high blood pressure, that would be correct. You need to talk to you md about this either way. You may need a medication change or a potassium supplement. Bananas and red meat are high in potassium and might help you.

Maybe venous disease: Cramping at night is a common complaint in those with chronic venous insufficiency. The numbness and muscle soreness can result from the changes in ph affect the potassium levels in muscles (thereby also affecting contraction of the muscle fibers). Often the direct dilation of veins presses on nerves or causes chemical irritation locally which can result in numbness or a burning like feeling.
