Yes of course: If you have oral sex with someone who has active genital herpes then can get the herpes orally, genital herpes is type 2 oral herpes is type 1 but u can get type 1 or 2 in either area. Continuous Valtrex (valacyclovir) can prevent outbreaks of herpes, please see your gyn.
