Unusual: Work up, the head symptoms. If there is a cause for a fall to break the ribs that may be a connection other than bad luck! ribs usually heal over 3 months or so.

Get evaluated: If this is from a trauma or accident, i would get evaluated right away. The headaches and dizziness could be a sign of concussion.

Unclear: If you sustained localized chest trauma with rib fractures, it is not clear as to connection to headaches. Rib fractures are quite painful. Medications, often narcotics, are associated with both dizziness and headaches in some people. Depending location of rib fractures, associated muscle spasm can result in stiff neck and headache. Mechanism of initial trauma may also be cause.

Rib fractures : Simple rib fractures are treated conservatively with pain management only. Certain rib fractures that result in breathing difficulties and / or relentless pain are treated surgically. I use titanium plates to repair the chest wall.
