Small amount of: Bleeding or spotting after hysterectomy is normal, but heavy bleeding like a period is not. If that is the case you need to see your gyn surgeon as soon as possible to have a pelvic exam done to make sure the incision at the top of the vagina did not come apart.

Probably: It can take 3 or 4 weeks to heal completely from the hysterectomy. Spotting or light bleeding may be normal, nut if you are worried you should see your doctor for an exam.
