Vit k : Foods that contain vit k can reduce the effect of coumadin (warfarin). Such as fresh greens etc. The list of foods and meds that can interact is extensive. Please call your doctor or pharmacist.

Avoid....: Herbs, dark leafy greens, broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagus, cabbage and pickles all contain high amounts of vitamin k. These foods need to be eaten sparingly if you are on coumadin (warfarin). To keep your pt/inr level stable, you need to have a consistent intake of vitamin k.
