I had knee surgery for chondroplasty what exactly is that?

Attempt to repair: Chondro means cartilage, plasty means to fix. A chondoplasty is a way to attempt to repair the damaged cartilage in your knee. Actual techniques vary. In one type of chondroplasty, the area where the cartilage has been lost is derided and the underlying bone is abraded with the goal of stimulating a healing response to repair the area.
