OralAllergySyndrome: It is very common in people who also suffer from hayfever or allergic rhinitis. It's also called fruit-pollen syndrome. Peeling your fruit can help reduce the amount of allergy causing proteins. Heating the fruit can help denature them.Even cutting the fruit and letting them sit can help due to oxidation. A small percentage of people can get anaphylaxis and need to carry epipen (epinephrine). Good luck!
