Usually: Depends on the cause. If due to medicines e.g. Aspirin, ibuprofen, etc, the bleeding may heal by stopping the drug. Bleeding from cancer or tumors may require surgery. Ulcers can be treated with medicines, endoscopy or sometimes surgery. Please see your md or gasterenterologist to find the cause and select the best treatment. If you are bleeding massively or feeling faint- go to the er!
