No: One possible exception -- coxsackievirus is catching, but very few people who met the virus get cardiomyopathy from it, and i've not heard of people with cardiomyopathy from this virus being able to transmit it. (does anyone else know?). Diphtheria is of course catching but is thankfully rare today.

No: There are several causes of cardiomyopathy, but they are not contagious. Some cases may be caused by viruses or parasites, but generally once a patient has the cardiomyopathy from the infectious agent the cardiomyopathy that develops isn't contagious.
