It depends: Both high and low thyroid levels can affect your periods as well as how you feel.. The dose you are on seems reasonable, check level soon.

Wait 6 weeks: Wait a full six weeks before checking blood level to determine if dose is correct. Use only brand name replacement and don't take within two hours (before or after) calcium, iron or vitamins. Best taken in am on empty stomach, but usually not necessary as long as you're consistent.
