Lots depression tx: Depression symptoms respond to: exercise/ behavioral activation, sleep hygiene, mindfulness activities, increased social support, lowered relationship conflicts, increased spiritual connections, developing meaningful purpose in life. Psychotherapy is equally effective to medications, and can complement meds, i.e., interpersonal & cognitive-behavioral therapy provided by licensed clinicians.

Yes: Depression is not a unitary disease, it is a symptom or collection of symtoms. First find out is you jhave depression the illness; if so, was there a cause that can be remedied. Healthy living, good diet, sleep, exercise, activities with friends, recreation, yoga, etc canl help. They don't work quickly. Be patient; but if it interferes with life or you think about suicide, get he.Lp immediatel.
