Yes: This needs to be routinely monitored, as when it reaches a certain size, it is at risk for rupture, which would have a high chance to be a life ending event.

You should: Location and size are important as are other risk factors. 35 is on the young end! so i would want to know about hypertension, other risks and familial issues: marfan, etc. Most thoracic aneurysms will be observed until 6 cm in ascending and 5-6 in descending. The descending are being treated endovascular frequently now.
