In short, no: A true bacterial sinus infection will not cause skin changes unless the infection spreads into the cheek. This is usually with redness and swelling, no spasms. If you are having facial pain (often attributed to "sinusitis") and facial spasms, you may want to see a neurologist and/or an ENT doctor.
