Uncommon but yes: Most common cause is physiologic bowing (esssentially normal variant). Blounts disease (not definitively genetically linked) also common cause, rickets, oi and metaphyseal chondrodysplaisa are genetic disorders that can feature genu varum but all of these have other more obvious manifestations.
