Normal: Around the time of ovulation and for up to 36 hours later, the cervix produces copious amount of cervical mucous. Up to 50% of women have a discharge of this mucous around ovulation. The mucous can mix with the vaginal discharge, giving it a whitish appearance. Don't forget, it could also be semen coming out of the vagina (which is also normal).
