Polycystic left ovary anechoic cyst 2 to 9mm in diameter what is it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing bad: Anechoic cysts of 2-9mm are normal/benign follicles that develop in ovaries. They are immature, egg-containing, fluid filled 'bubbles' of a sort that develop in the ovaries. They are nothing dangerous, just a normal, physiologic occurrences in a patient with polycystic ovarias.
