Cases come from: asia (56% of worldwide deaths) and africa (44% of worldwide deaths)rabid dogs cause over 90% of human exposures to rabies and dogs cause over 99% of human deaths around the world. Number of deaths? At least 55, 000 cases a year, a vast number of them children. Other transmission animals: raccoons, bats, skunks, and foxes.
