Bite wound infected: Rabies works from the inside - so you won't see any outward redness or signs like that. The bite area however, could certainly get red, painful and ooze pus. If this is happening, you really need to see a doc to get help. You don't want this infection getting out of control. Obviously if it was a real rabies risk you need to follow up with the docs to make sure you don't get it. Take care.
