Take em out: It is generally recommended that patients with dentures do not wear their dentures at night. The gums were never meant to be covered all the time. The dentures should be kept moist and not allowed to dry out.

Take em out: He should not wear them at night. Tell him that his gums need a break daily for a few hours. Keep them moist and clean for healther gums and a longer/better fit.

Take them out: I usually tell people that not taking their dentures out is like never taking your shoes and socks off...Your feet are going to start looking and smelling pretty nasty after a few days. Give the tissue in the mouth some time to breathe! sleeping with dentures in can also make your grandfather more susceptible to oral fungal infections (candidiasis).

New Dentures: Implant-supported dentures are over-dentures fixed to the gums by dental implants. The denture snaps onto the implants, keeping it stable and secure. Taking dentures out at night may increase the chances of sleep apnea, snoring and breathing difficulties during sleep.
