No: Valarian emerged in the 16th century as a helpful herb for sleep, anxiety, & stress but it has not proven to be of use for dengue, alias "break bone fever" so called for the power of the shaking chills sometimes experienced with the illness. Avoid Aspirin for muscle cramps (already risk of bleeding with dengue) & use tylenol (acetaminophen) for pain & fever instead. Massage & fluids will help muscle cramps.
