Dengue Fever: Symptoms typically develop between 4 and 7 days after the bite of an infected mosquito, although the incubation period may range from 3 to 14 days. Dengue can essentially be excluded as the cause of symptoms in a traveler developing an illness more than 14 days after returning from a dengue-endemic country.
