A cab to your doctor: At best, the white spots can be calcium deposits of debris in which better oral hygiene will help. At worse you could have tonsillitis or strep throat. If you have been sore for two weeks, its time to see a physician for a throat culture. A throat culture is the diagnostic gold standard for strep.
