Reflux: Lying flat for the MRI and the stress of the procedure may have caused you to have acid reflux that manifests as burning in your stomach area.

Unknown: Unfortunately, all i can tell you that there is no science to explain this. I can also happen if you have had metal injury to that area in the past, or have a tattoo in that area.
