No proven benefit: Probiotics have not been proven beneficial for gastroesophageal reflux. Thickened feeding by adding cereal to the breast milk or formula should be considered. Good burping & avoidance of overfeeding are recommended as well.

None: Probiotics are not usually needed for healthy newborns. The best thing to do is breast feed your baby with frequent feedings. Raise her head after feedings and burp regularly to reduce the amount of air in the tummy. Breast milk is very digestible and filled with healthy antibodies. If she is spitting up often or seems really fussy, check with your baby's doctor.
