Depends: There are many ways to burn the fallopian tubes and the chance of success will depend on the number of places burned and amount of tube burned. Traditionally, burning of the tubes is three burns of 1 cm that are 1 cm apart. The larger the amount of tube destroyed the lower chance of success. The rate can vary from 10-70% depending upon how the tubes were burned.
