Talk to your doctor.: A common component of pcos is having irregular cycles. If you skip a period (or more), your next period can be longer/heavier as the lining of your uterus has thickened. You should talk to your doctor and explain what your periods are like. They can then examine you, order tests like labs/ultrasound, and help determine what is causing the bleeding.

Anovulation: It sounds as if you're having anovulatory cycles. These are cycles where the ovary fails to release an egg, which disrupts hormonal levels. Its common and not serious.
