Not very: Pulling out the pin is not painless, but it is not very painful. While I have not experienced this myself, my patients tell me that is an unusual feeling like something is being pulled out. It only takes a few seconds, and numbing the finger with an injection is far more painful. Don't worry about the pin pulling. Focus on your therapy.
