Is it ok to smoke while on coumadin after being diagnosed with pulmonary embolism? just until my severe anxiety goes away(started paxil (paroxetine) for anxiety).

No!: Unfortunately smoking increases the risk of thrombosis. Despite being on coumadin, you want to minimize anything that could cause a recurrent clot. If you need additional medications on top of Paxil (paroxetine) for anxiety, let your doctor know. They should be able to help you through this tough time.

Horrible idea: Smoking increases your risk of further clot, and makes your pulmonary sx worse. Please stop.
