Maybe: It is possible that an abcessed tooth can cause lymphadenopathy in the cervical region. It is also possible that, if your neck pain is related to stress then it could be that you are grinding your teeth and causing pain. It could also be that they are unrelated. Please see a dentist as soon as possible.

It could be either.: Both situations can cause pain referral and it would be important to have the tooth evaluated and treated. Based on the history of how the symptoms developed, it would be possible to determine which is the more likely source or if they are completely separate pains.

Either: Your neck or tooth could be causing pain to each other. Referred pain is very common and it's good for you to go to your doctor to get properly diagnosed and proper treatment.

Possibly: Toothaches can cause radiating pain that hurts elsewhere in the body. Any of the head and neck as well as upper back areas can be affected. Make sure you get the problem diagnosed and treated.

Maybe: A dental infection can involve lymph nodes in the neck. Mostly this pain could be from behind the ear down to to, your clavicle and slightly anterior to that line also. Any pain in the. Back of the neck may be from the tension you are having from the pain, not lymph nodes. I have never seen neck pain cause a toothache.

Unlikely: It's certainly possible that there is a connection between your toothache and your neck pain, but in my opinion, this is unlikely and not a common occurrence. Have your dentist treat you for your toothache, and ask him\her if he\she thinks there might be a connection. The dentist who is actually treating you would be able to give you the best guess answer to your question. Neck pain to tooth? No.
