A member asked:

Took altripla for pep at 3pm first time pill, can i move that time up closer to my bed time next pill as it makes me a bit dizzy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, you can: Ideally, you should take Atripla at night as it can cause dizziness. The idea behind this is so you sleep thru the dizziness. The dizziness can go away with time (usually within 2-3 weeks). But, I do have some patients who can take it in the daytime without issues. However, i presume you we're taking it for pep, so you had to start immediately. In summary, i would switch to taking it at night.
