Infection?: Grp b strep is a bacteria normally found in various areas of our body. It does have the potential to produce different types of infection, but you must be predisposed in some fashion. Too much info to go into here. Commonly tested for vaginal carriage during pregnancy because can produce sepsis in neonate and mother postpartum.
