Wavelength is risk: Unless the light has uv, then you're unlikely to have caused damage. Uv can cause welder's burn, snow blindness etc, which are corneal damage in the short-term. Uv to the retina can cause damage. Also uv can increase the risk of eyelid skin cancer. Again, normal wavelength light used at home or office may cause a headache with overuse, but no long term sequelae.
