Possibly: The bumps on the back of your tongue may be irritated papillae. They may also be the signs of something other than the post nasal drip, so an appointment with either your dentist or family physician is in prder.

Papillae: The bumps on the back of your tongue are mostly likely normal, and called circumvallate papillae. If you are concerned, see your primary physician, ent, or dentist who will all be familiar with these structures.
