Stretch, fix posture: Bending forward is a common provocation of spinal pain. Often shoulders are raised and rolled forward in people with neck and back pain. In proper posture, weight when standing is on heels, shoulders are relaxed down and back, as though you're holding a bottle between your shoulder blades. Chin should be tucked and back, as though you were holding a can between your sternum and chin.
