11mth old hoarse and chesty with temperature?

Anything: 11 month old with these symptoms could have anything including: pneumonia, bronchitis, ear infection, simple cold or viral illness. This baby needs to be seen by a doctor to discern which it is.

11 month old fever: You can approach this in two ways: (1) if the baby is eating well and behaving like his normal self, just continue to watch him/her; (2) if the baby seems to have any difficulty in breathing or is eating less than usual or sleeping a lot more than usual, then s/he should be checked by a doctor. Also, if the fever is > 102o, it would be good to have the baby checked anyway.
