Varies: Many people with mild diabetes have no symptoms at all. When the blood sugar becomes very high they will have increased urination, thirst, weight loss, blurred vision, fatigue, increased infections. A fasting sugar under 100 mg/dl is normal, above 125 is considered diabetes. A sugar after eating above 200 is also considered diabetes, as well as a hemoglobin a1c above 6.5% (normal <5.7).
