Need exam!: It's hard to know without examining you. The glands you feel are lymph nodes. If they are enlarged and sore, that can mean you have an infection. The glands in your neck and throat drain your sinuses, head, throat & mouth. The glands in your armpits drain your arms/hands or chest/breasts. Enlarged glands are also a sign of cancer, particularly lymphoma, so you really need to see a doctor!
