Check with MD: This is a tough one to answer on line as so many questions about your health and the behavior of this condition need to be asked. If you are able, it would be worthwhile to see a doctor for at least one visit to start getting it sorted out. Neurological, endocrine and emotional causes would be sought out first. Start with a primary care doc to help point you in the right direction.

Check with your doc: This sounds like something that can and should be fixed quickly. Such as thyroid disease and many other things. Check with your doc asap.

In the absence of an: Origin, i assume u have been evaluated, one must consider hyperalgesia. It may be a mood or stress problem presenting this way. Treating this, in my opinion, would be similar to fibromyalgia. Headaches? Clinch teeth at night? Bad insomnia? Treating insomnia with med for anxiety may help, along with an snri like duloxetine. Tramadol may help and look up gabapentin. A regimen will likely b needed.
