Exposure Therapy: Best treated by a center that specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (cbt) for anxiety disorders and will actually send a therapist to meet with you at your home or anywhere that you can literally face your fear.

Exposure, Gradual: Most effective therapy = systematic desensitization. Involves facing/exposing yourself to the feared object/situation but gradually, in progressive steps (e.g., from looking at photo of spider, to holding toy spider, right up to holding live one). At each step, you experience fear but "stay w/ it" until your level of fear drops/you feel relaxed. Work w/ behavioral/cognitive-behavioral specialist.
