PCOS the problem: Your daughter is not overweight due to thyroid, if here doctor has given her the correct amount of thyroid replacement. There are other more reliable brands of replacement. She certainly could be overweight because of Insulin resistance due to pcos. Diet, exercise and metformin may help. Make sure here thyroid level normal no matter what replacement she is on.
