Normal: Ovulation commonly occurs in the 11 to 17 day range after first day of menses. Sometimes a woman can have a change in her pattern without anything wrong. Cycles often get slightly closer together as you get later in your reproductive life.

Sometimes: You should ovulate 10-14 days after the first day of your last menstal period. That is why we instruct patients to start their ovulation home test kits on day 9.
