"ZANTAC": I googled zantech and got an information company. There is zantac, (ranitidine) which is an h-2 blocker and decreases acid secretion. It is not a diet pill. It will not harm a diabetic, but certainly not improve the diabetes or cause weight loss!

Not a diet pill: A new study shows 2 drugs approved to treat type 2 diabetes may also aid weight loss in overweight people with or without diabetes, the drugs Byetta and victoza (liraglutide) mimic gut hormones that decrease appetite. A new research review, published in bmj reveals that the avg. Weight loss for diabetics was 6lbs when pts. Injected daily or weekly. Ask your dr. If you are a good candidate for this rx.
